Its goals lie in unfolding the path towards gnana through studies derived from the Vedas to understand and experience true independence.

Chirantana welcomes everybody who wishes to embark on the journey to take charge of their well-being. Our kutumba consists of families, children, youth and inspiring mothers and elders who have taken the sankalpa to not only know themselves, but improve themselves everyday.

The Methodology

Our Sampradaya

Chirantana employs introspection and discussion to foster an environment of curiosity and inquisitiveness towards the self and world. It develops mature thought by providing a space to explore various aspects and arrive at rational decisions. We emphasise problem resolution by drawing focus to the bigger picture, encouraging critical thinking, solution oriented thought and acceptance of the present. Adopting the prakriya or technique of Neti-Neti Vaada or negating ego and world as not part of oneself, Chirantana walks on the path of knowledge, aiming to realise what is.
